What We Believe
"Rooted in the historic Reformed tradition and committed to the absolute authority of God's Word."
Core Christian Truths
Essential doctrines of the Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scriptures and held by the historic church.
The Authority of Holy Scripture
The Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and life.
The Triune God
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory.
The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, who lived without sin, died as a substitute for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return in glory.
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, not earned by works.
The Work of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit gives new life, convicts of sin, assures believers, and empowers the Church for holy living and witness.
The Church and God’s Mission
The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and live for God’s glory.
The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
* "catholic" means the universal church of all believers
The Five Solas
The Bible is the sole infallible rule of faith and practice. All that we believe and do must be grounded in the Word of God.
Salvation is by God's grace alone, a free gift given to us not because of any merit in ourselves, but because of His mercy.
Justification is received through faith alone in Jesus Christ. We are made right with God by trusting in His finished work.
Christ is the only mediator between God and man. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.
All of life is to be lived for God's glory. Everything we do is for His honor and praise, now and forever.
Reformed & Presbyterian
As a Reformed church, we hold to the system of doctrine found in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms.
We believe in the sovereignty of God over all of life and His covenantal faithfulness to His people through all generations.
